Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is a local nonprofit whose principal mission is to implement the City’s vision for its grantmaking and civic art investments. All our work is conducted through contracts overseen by the City of Houston.

HAA administers competitive grants to individuals and organizations, funded through a dedicated portion of HOT revenue allocated to promote tourism to Houston. In addition, HAA manages the City’s Civic Art Collection, handling commissions, acquisitions, and conservation. Private funding supports HAA’s disaster recovery services, research, and public art initiatives.
